About Me

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with a master’s degree in psychology from Dominican University in San Rafael. I have been working with clients in Marin since 1996.

My varied experience includes working with troubled youth and their families at such agencies as Transforming communities, Huckleberry Youth Services, 9 Grove Lane, San Rafael Police Youth Services, and Braun Day Treatment. I have worked worked with adults and couples in many settings, including St. Helena Center for Behavioral Health doing inpatient/outpatient therapy with clients requiring hospitalization. Most recently as a parent coach with Vive! supporting parents all across the United States to develop better relationships, dealing with couple as well as parenting issues.

Currently, I see patients in my private practice in San Anselmo. I work with a wide range of issues effecting individuals, teens, families and groups. I am a certified anger management facilitator for both adults and adolescents. I am comfortable working with individuals who have been in contact with the legal system as well as those who recognize that anger and rage are negatively impacting their lives and relationships

Originally from San Francisco, I have called Marin home for the last 30 years, raising my family and being an active member of my community. I love hiking the trails throughout Marin as well as exploring the wonderful California coastline, practicing yoga and I am an avid reader.

My many years of experience as a parent, a volunteer in many social service settings, a theoretical background in family systems therapy and an ever curious mind all guide me in the work I do.
